Snap Retail Metrics

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Snap Retail Metrics replace Shopify?

No. Shopify remains the source of truth for products, inventory, orders, payments, routing, and fulfillment. Snap Retail Metrics provides a focused scanning, picking, and reporting workflow that uses permitted Shopify data.

Why use Snap Retail Metrics if I already have Shopify?

Snap Retail Metrics is intended for retailers that want a focused handheld workflow for product lookup, inventory visibility, verified order picking, and role-specific reporting without giving every employee broad Shopify admin access. Shopify has its own scanning, fulfillment, and analytics features; Snap Retail Metrics is an optional operational layer, not a claim that Shopify lacks those capabilities.

What types of retailers are a good fit?

It is designed for Shopify retailers with staff who regularly look up inventory, prepare online orders, or need focused store and fulfillment reporting. A very small store with low order volume may find Shopify’s native tools sufficient.

Can I use it without a scanner?

Yes. Monthly customers may use the web reporting dashboard without a scanner. Scanner workflows require a compatible device.

Which devices are compatible?

Snap Retail Metrics supports the offered refurbished Zebra TC51 configuration and compatible Android devices that meet current application requirements. Confirm compatibility before relying on an existing device; not every Android scanner or accessory is guaranteed to work.

How is pricing calculated?

Pricing is based on active device licenses with a one-device minimum. The monthly plan permits a compatible bring-your-own device or web reporting without a scanner. Review the pricing section for current first-device and additional-device rates.

Does barcode verification eliminate picking mistakes?

No system can guarantee error-free fulfillment. Order claiming and barcode checks are designed to reduce duplicated effort and flag item mismatches before an eligible fulfillment is completed.

What happens after a failed payment?

The account receives a 10-day grace period with warnings. Access is suspended if payment remains unresolved when the grace period ends.

Can a broken device be replaced?

Yes. The owner can release the old device and activate a compatible replacement under an available license.

Is there a free trial?

No. Billing begins when checkout is completed.
