Snap Retail Metrics

Terms of Service

Effective date: August 3, 2026

These Terms of Service govern the Snap Retail Metrics website, software, mobile application, subscriptions, device activation, hardware offerings, and related services. Snap Retail Metrics is operated by Horizon, LLC. By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, activating a device, or using the services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and business use

The services are intended for businesses and their authorized representatives. You must be at least 18 and authorized to act for the business you represent.

2. Services

Snap Retail Metrics may provide Shopify product and inventory lookup, sales metrics, barcode scanning, order picking, fulfillment, team accounts, device licensing, QR activation, and related administration. Features may change as the service develops.

3. Shopify connection

You authorize Snap Retail Metrics to access the Shopify information required to provide the services. You are responsible for maintaining Shopify, granting required permissions, and ensuring employees are authorized. Snap Retail Metrics is independent from Shopify.

4. Account security

You are responsible for credentials, authorized users, activated devices, and activity performed through your account. Notify support promptly of suspected unauthorized access.

5. Plans and renewal

Subscriptions have a one-device minimum. Monthly plans cost $69 for the first licensed device and $24 for each additional licensed device, renewing monthly from the purchase date. Annual plans cost $699 for the first licensed device and $249 for each additional licensed device, renewing every 12 months. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.

6. License changes

Added licenses are not prorated and may become active immediately, with the increased quantity charged at renewal. Reductions take effect at the next renewal and do not create a refund or credit.

7. Payment authorization

You authorize recurring charges for the selected plan, license quantity, approved hardware, applicable taxes, and other authorized amounts. Stripe or another processor handles payment-card information.

8. Failed payments

A failed renewal receives a 10-day grace period with account and device warnings. If payment remains unresolved, login and paid functionality may be suspended until payment is restored.

9. Cancellation

Voluntary cancellation remains active through the paid period. No additional grace period follows voluntary cancellation. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

10. Device activation

Each paid license permits one active device. One-time activation tokens expire after 30 days and may not be shared with unauthorized parties. Released or disabled devices may lose access immediately.

11. Software updates

Updates may be optional, recommended, or required. Versions below the minimum supported version may be blocked until updated.

12. Hardware

Initial annual purchases include one refurbished Zebra TC51 and bumper case per annual license purchased at that initial checkout. Hardware is not automatically included at renewal. Standard US shipping is included. Backorders are allowed. Defective hardware has a 30-day return period and 90-day limited warranty, subject to the separate hardware policy.

13. Acceptable use

You may not use the services unlawfully, access stores without authorization, bypass licensing, resell the service without permission, interfere with security, upload malicious code, or share activation codes with unauthorized parties.

14. Suspension and termination

Access may be suspended for nonpayment, material violations, fraud, security risk, revoked Shopify authorization, or legal requirements.

15. Retention, export, and deletion

Account owners may request eligible exports. Canceled-account data is generally retained for one year and then deleted, except limited records required for billing, tax, fraud, chargebacks, or law. Owner-requested early deletion requires identity confirmation, email confirmation, and a seven-day cancellation window.

16. Intellectual property

Snap Retail Metrics and its software, branding, designs, and documentation belong to Snap Retail Metrics or its licensors. You receive a limited right to use the service during an active subscription. You retain ownership of your business data.

17. Third-party services

The service depends on providers such as Shopify, Stripe, WordPress, hosting, email, Android, Zebra, and carriers. Snap Retail Metrics is not responsible for third-party outages or policy changes outside its reasonable control.

18. Disclaimer

Except for the stated limited hardware warranty, the services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Snap Retail Metrics does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free inventory, elimination of picking mistakes, or specific business results.

19. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Snap Retail Metrics is not liable for indirect, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages. Total liability will not exceed the amount paid during the 12 months preceding the claim.

20. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Georgia law. Legal actions must be brought in a court with jurisdiction in Colquitt County, Georgia, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

21. Changes

Terms may be updated. Material changes may be communicated through the website, application, or account email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
